Master Works of Haitian Art: Pieces from the collection of Norvel and Isabelita Burns, in memory of Bob Burns. Gallery C is proud to present this collection of paintings and scuptures, purchased in Haiti over 40 years ago. Norvel and Isabelita Burns’ collection first exhibited in April of 1980 at the Naive Gallery of Folk Art in San Francisco. It features world-renowned Haitain artists including Ludovic Booz and Jean Rene Jerome, as well as other native talent virtually unknown outside of Haiti. Booz has work featured in the Nelson Rockefeller Collection as well as the Museum of Modern Art in New York, while Jerome has been exhibited around in the world in countries such as Latin America, Brazil, Canada, the U.S., and many more.
