Founded more than 30 years ago, ARTS Day is an annual two-day conference of art and action that draws hundreds of North Carolinians to their state capital to learn, network, celebrate and speak with one voice on behalf of the arts to key decision-makers. Legislative Day (May 25) guides attendees to take tangible action. Prepared with the messaging and energy of Conference Day, arts advocates meet with their legislators to talk about the importance of sustaining and growing public funding and arts education policy.
