The second annual “Art to the Rescue," with more than 30 pieces of art from 20 well-known local artists and a new online viewing gallery with electronic bidding, will be a fantastic experience for art lovers. The online gallery opens June 16; on the Second Chance website, art fanatics and animal enthusiasts can view the artwork, place bids and even purchase pieces outright. From June 25-30, supporters can visit ArtSourcein North Hills to see the exhibition live. On June 30 from 6-8pm, Second Chance and ArtSource will host a ticketed closing reception; tickets are $ 15 in advance and $ 20 at the door and include wine tickets. Guests will enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres from Flights at the Renaissance Hotel and Rocky Top Hospitality as they bid on art, purchase raffle tickets and meet adorable animals in need of homes. Be it a painting or 3D artwork, these pieces will beautify any home or office or make a thoughtful gift to an animal lover. They will also save lives: up to 90% of the sales of the artwork will go to Second Chance. View artwork and bid online, and join Second Chance for the closing reception, to support the mission of the oldest no-kill rescue in Wake County!
