No season would be complete without a great family ballet. And what better way to end Carolina Ballet’s Shakespeare Festival than with an enchanting tale for all ages. Shakespeare’s playful, romantic comedy comes to life on the stage in George Balanchine’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream with music written especially for the play by Felix Mendelssohn. Full of memorable characters, twists of fate and one potent love potion, A Midsummer Night’s Dream is always a crowd pleaser.
