The N.C. State Fair is a first-class, family-oriented entertainment and educational event occurring each Oct. in Raleigh. Our Fair is the largest event in the state of N.C. and we are the largest 11-day agriculture event in the nation, surpassing one million visitors to the 2010 State Fair. Opening day, Oct. 13. Visit website for complete music performance schedule and fair updates.
This year’s theme, "Nothing Could Be Finer," is the foundation of our mission. The fair is all about seeking out and showcasing the finest of N.C. Whether that be in a horse show, livestock show, culinary, handicraft or art competition, or with our new "Homegrown Music Fest" concert series (11 days, three stages, 117 concerts), we are proud of the talented people of our great state. The State Fair is a way to celebrate everything that is uniquely N.C.
