A pinecone. A pear. An artichoke. Different and yet alike. A simple warmup sketch of these objects led Patricia Williams to this new exploration of the similarities and differences among common plants and animals. Glimpsed behind veils of abstract washes, disparate life forms are connected by color and shape. They reveal their nature as much by what is hidden as by what is revealed.
